Maitland Heney is a designer with PR-TY, and started her career after graduating with a Bachelor in Interior Design from Algonquin College in the spring. of 2021. During her studies, Maitland did two co-op placements with Hay Design proving herself to be a bright, future asset in the field of. interior design.
The combination of the natural environment and interior design fuels her passion; sustainability, the natural environment, how it merges with the built environment, and how people fit into the whole experience.
Maitland has already gained valuable experience in preparing and developing interior layouts, creative design concepts, colours and finishes, functional programming, creating furniture plans, cost estimates, construction drawing packages, and conducting site verifications. Maitland is quickly becoming the Revit / BIM house expert!
When she’s not working, Maitland spends much of her time with her beloved dog Blue and whipping up delicious creations in the kitchen.
Maitland’s next goal is working towards her NCIDQ certification.
