Architect

Orhan Armstrong is an Architect at PR-TY, bringing a wealth of experience in public and institutional architecture. Before joining PR-TY, he worked in Ottawa-based architectural firms, contributing to feasibility studies, building condition assessments, and heritage conservation projects.

As a Project Architect, Orhan is responsible for the planning and execution of diverse architectural projects, utilizing industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, InDesign, and MS Project to develop and communicate design solutions effectively.

Before transitioning to architecture, Orhan built a career in healthcare, most recently serving as a Program Manager at Ottawa Public Health. His background in municipal governance, community engagement, and clinical health service planning brings a unique perspective to his architectural work, reinforcing his ability to design spaces that serve communities effectively.

Orhan holds a Master of Arts in Community Development and Primary Health from Westminster University (2001) and a Master of Architecture from the Azrieli School of Architecture at Carleton University (2016). He is a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) and the Ottawa Regional Society of Architects (ORSA).
